The cost that is involved in making black pepper depends on the location that the pepper is being produced and that determines how much it is worth. When black pepper is harvested, it is 80% of it that contributes to the cost. At this current point in time the cost of pepper is rising and what it is worth is continuing to go up in several countries around the world. In India, the price has gone up to US $ 3100 per tonne. The Vietnam price has also risen up just as much as the U.S prices. According to Vietnam, it is believed that they have sold close to 80,000 tones of pepper this year. In Brazil there has been damage to the crops of pepper which lead to a price increase. In Indonesia the rise of cost has reached up to US $ 2900 per tonne. Pepper in Vietnam is the best at the moment because of its price and it is good quality making it worthy.
